Meetings - What to expect

Our main church meeting is every Sunday morning at 10.30 and we meet at Rainham School for Girls.  If you're visiting us for the first time, please give yourself plenty of time to find the school. There is ample parking. We meet in the Main Hall which is sign-posted on site.

We have a very relaxed and easy-going feel to our church, we want you to be comfortable and welcome from the moment you walk in.

Our congregation is of mixed age, nationality and culture.  We normally start the meeting with Praise and Worship. Our worship team is blessed to have musicians of all different abilities and instruments. The style is modern but we still enjoy traditional hymns amongst the newer songs.

Preaching follows. We have a number of people in the church that bring the Word of God, including Allan Smith our Pastor. During the preach, children are provided for within various groups according to age, in classrooms just off the main hall, so they’re always close-by.  (If they prefer they can, of course, stay with you in the main meeting).

About once a month we celebrate communion during the service.  Those that are still seeking or unsure of what it's about are able to pass it by without embarrassment.

We'll often finish the meeting with a praise or worship song as appropriate. Our meetings normally conclude at approximately 12.20 - 12.30.

On the 1st Sunday of every month we have a shorter service, finishing about 12 noon, followed by tea, coffee and biscuits.  This is a time for fellowship and catching up with others and it's often a good one to come to if you're wondering when to visit us for the first time as it gives us a chance to get to know you a little over a coffee and a Hob-Nob!

If you have never been to one of our meetings, and would like more information, please contact us.
